Because what would artscape be without blinkenlights? BmoreSmart is doing the leg work (blog sign up, we'll bring the DIY tech. Check out the Bmore Smart mailing list or our mailing list for planning details.

Hours: Friday: 12-10pm / Saturday: 12-10pm / Sunday: 12-8pm
Location: Mount Royal Avenue & Cathedral Street / Charles Street Bolton Hill neighborhood & Station North Arts & Entertainment District

The Proposal
Show up, do things. Talk to people.
Rocket Launching
- Cost:
- $250 for construction paper and masking tape
- $150 for new rocket launchers
- Space required:
- Approx 100'x100' (more is ok) roped off from the public on W Layafette Ave
- Four tables covered by a tent (for rocket construction)
- Volunteers needed
- 1 to fill, 1 to manage the launch line, 2+ to help with rocket construction.
- Time frame
- What hours can we run this thing Friday, Saturday and Sunday?
Soldering Workshops
- Cost:
- $500 for approx 50 Atari Punk Console kits
- $150 for solder, desoldering braid and soldering irons
- Space required:
- A large indoor space with an abundance of power outlets
- Table and chair space for 15 people assume a 6'x4' table for four people to work, people need space.
- Volunteers needed
- 3 people to assist with instruction
- Time frame
- We'd run three workshops that would take approx 1.5 hours each.
