There are many benefits to having a board of directors:
- Credibility when approaching potential funders and applying for grants
- Connections to potentially useful and important people in the social circles of board members
- Guidance in financial and practical situations from experienced board members
This page should be a place to brainstorm potential board members. An ideal board member is interested in what we're doing and sufficiently established to provide the above mentioned benefits.
For information on how the Board of Directors will work, see Bylaws#Article_5:_Board_of_Directors Board of Directors in the bylaws. (Note these are not official bylaws and can be changed and discussed.)
