Proposed Baltimore Node Policy
Potential licenses
- Over the Shoulder Open License - we cannot dictate how you use the things you build, but if folks are around, they'll probably check out what you're doing and might feel inclined to ask you about it.
- DWTFYW - http://sam.zoy.org/wtfpl/
- Non-policy - if we are not a business, and we do not build it for you, you have to decide how it will be licensed. Good luck with that.
- The non-policy seems closest but perhaps without the paradoxical title: Baltimore Node makes no claim to intellectual property created by Baltimore Node members or created using Baltimore Node resources or facilities.
- We should probably establish an operating policy for the wiki and website on what material is appropriate to post. Everything else can between individuals using the space.
- I filled in the IP section of Membership Agreement in the spirit of the non-policy. I also added similar language to the Bylaws. I think we should delete this page and hold further discussion in the aforementioned documents. --Jonlesser 05:37, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
